04/19/2016 - Shortly before 3pm on Tuesday Engine 93 was dispatched along with the entire first alarm to the working structure fire at 126 Henderson street in Old Forge. Chief 93-A arrived on scene to find a fully involved garage fire, with extension into a neighboring garage. Chief 93-A also reported exposure into two residences, calling for the SRN and second alarm. Engine 93 established a water supply at Main and Henderson, laying in to the scene. Engine 93-3 (Eagle McClure) advanced the initial 1-3/4" preconnect while the 93 Engine advanced a second. Working both sides of the garage, initial attack crews were able to keep damage to the exposed garage, and residences to a minimum. Second alarm units assisted in checking for extension and overhaul. Excellent work by Old Forge units and the balance of the box alarms. Photos from various sources around Facebook.
